Sorry to hear about your baby. to answer your question first, pet insurance will not cover lp regardless of pre-existing or new delvelopment. We went thru the surgery for Hot Rod. Under a $1000.00 is a great price however, I would strongly advise that you make sure the surgeon is well versed in this surgery. Make sure that he is board certified and ask him how many surgeries he does in a week. I would highly recommend that you make sure that you feel comfortable with him/her.

Look into opions...physical therapy might be an option-seek medical opinion.

We wound up getting Care Credit to be able to stretch the payments. Our surgery was just under $2000.00.
