 Pet Insurance....for luxating patella surgery.
Well Uno's luxating patella problem seems to be getting worse. We found out about a week and a half ago he has luxating patellas. He has had 4 episodes of his hind left leg going lame, yelping in pain, and hobbling within the last week. Surgery was quoted at just under $1000. I'm 23, in grad school and don't have a job because of my school load. My question is....
How many of you out there have pet insurance? Does it help? What's the best kind? Any personal stories of surgeries/etc to share and how insurance helped out majorly?
the only thing is now it would most likely be considered a pre-existing condition. Anyone know of a pet insurance that covers pre-existing?
