well she is not itching because he gave her a steroid to suppress the immune system so once that wears off the itching will come back
when doing a thyroid panel it has to be 6 panel by michigan state or jean dodds not just a t4free -- if the t4free is low then you need to investigate this further
he is saying he will give her soloxine if it does not get better but it will not get better
can you get a copy of the blood work and post the highs and lows as you should keep a file with all blood work and records at home in case of emergency so if after hours you give them your file as they will not be able to get a hold of your vet to get info so very important to prepared for the worst and hope for the best
concerned this vet is not that great since he went right for a steroid shot in a little dog that is a huge whamy for a small dog and there are safer approaches to small dogs when using steroids like temarilp
