I'm not sure why they're different colors, but I can see the marrow in the middle. Momo licks it, it's really cute. We got different parts of the antler & they all seem to be a little different in color. Maybe bc it's from different elks?
IDK either...I'll ask.
We also have a deer one & it's a more deeper brown.
