The scab he had was from where he was biting his skin on his flank (after he chewed the hair from it). But that's healed up now and his hair is growing back. He used to bit his paws too, but now only licks them once in a while like he's grooming. When he was really sick the vet had him on a steroid, and we dosed him every morning with 3 cc's of baby
Benadryl. After about a week, he was getting back to normal. The biggest problem he had was some flea bites that he had and the vet said the symptoms he showed were classic for a Yorkie with a serious allegy to flea bites. |
