Our Douglas had the itches so bd that he actually was biting the hair off the back part of his body and creating little bite scabs. Vet's said it was probably dry skin and he was highly allergic to flea bites. We went to Comfortis for the fleas and sprayed the yard good with "Cyonara". We went with Flint River Ranch Lamb & Millet and Rice and also the Trout and Potato. We also mix in one-eigth teaspoon of cod liver oil for dogs every other day and the same amount of extra virgin olive oil the other days. He loves it all and in a matter of a week or so we could see the difference in his skin and his coat. Only itches once in awhile now, as most dogs do anyway. That might help. Good luck. |
