I've never personally used a Buddy Belt but yes, I don't like the step-ins! lol. I got one (a cheap one so maybe that makes a difference) and I can't imagine putting it on Jackson every day. It was such a hassle. And he's such an angel to put his other harness on, that goes quickly over his head, around the belly, and snap. Also, I like to just snap it on, don't like how the Buddy Belt's are like a... well, like a belt, lol. Maybe that's just me being lazy!
They seem like they're made very well, but too expensive and just not for me.
