You should never hit a dog, this will make him aggressive, you can't blame the dog for showing it's teeth, he's doing what he's suppose to do. Mom needs to find a new way to discipline, but marking is instinctive and very hard to control once established. Has you dog been neutered, this will cut down on marking, and neutered dogs usually only mark outside. I agree with Chachi, use bellybands. Time outs won't work either, they are not human, and don't understand why they are being given the "time out." |
