I just realized I missed seeing your question about teeth. I've learned from some very knowledgeable YT'rs that canned food isn't necessarily bad for the teeth - it's more the quality of the food that's important (just like with humans). Even though the NV medallions are soft, they are excellent quality food and have small peices of ground raw bone that help to scrape the teeth. But raw bones will be excellent for them, too. I also give bully sticks to my babies to chew on to help with their teeth.
ETA: Yes, I also give mine an occasional raw bone but mostly bully sticks. Their treats are frozen green beans, baby carrots and cheerios.
