 Help with 1 year old Yorkie
My wife and I have a 3-4 pound Yorkie that just turned 1 year old in July. She just recently went out of heat for the first time. We also have a male shih tzu, but we don't think that he messed with her while she was in heat.
Since she came out of heat 3 weeks ago, her stomach is about twice the size of what it normally is. What concerns me the most is her raspy breathing, especially when we pick her up or she is on her back. Her breathing has been like this for about the last 2 weeks.
Does this sound like something I should be very cautious of and take her to the vet? Any ideas? |
