I've heard a few different things in the aspect of floppy ears on yorkies. Some take longer to stand up, especially if the tips of the ears aren't shaved. You could tape them if you wanted, but I really didn't ever care enough to, and my boys' ears are up now. Also, when a puppy is teething, all the calcium goes to the teeth, so the cartilage in the ears isn't built up or something, and it can cause the ears to flop back down, but once they're done teething, they'll go back up (my Tank's ears did that) Best of luck to you!
