Ok..my experience happened during the first month or so after I adopted my dog, Max. I work the nightshift as an RN so I typically sleep during the day. Because of this, I used to wear earplugs to drown out daytime noise. Anyhow, once I got Max, I stopped wearing the earplugs so that I could hear if he needed to go out, etc. It started with me hearing movement around the room when I was trying to fall asleep. I would get up to see if it was Max, but he'd be sleeping in his bed. Another time, I felt bed move right next to me as if someone sat down. I thought it was Max laying next to me, but when I looked again, he was laying in his bed. On other occasions, Max would look up at the center of the room and start sniffing around. The weird thing is, even though I suspected some sort of "ghost" activity, I wasn't freaked out.
I was thinking that since I adopted Max and don't know his history, maybe it was his previous owner making sure he was ok? Who knows...but it stopped happening. |
