Now I am on my soap box for a minute...
I read the other day in several commerical breeder forums that AKC is courting the commerical breeders to return AKC..they are holding seminars to invite breeders back. I am not a fan of the AKC because I have seen them say one thing and do another for years. It is all about the dollar and they have lost millions because most commerical breeders have left AKC for CKC and APRI.
AKC thinks the show and hobby breeders will not find these things out and it makes me mad..having sadi that, AKC is still the only registry I will use, even with it flaaws, I think they are the only way to go.....BUT they are certainly getting a letter from me about this new stuff going on.
110% agree ckc dosnt need pedigrees on there dog just a vet to say hmm i think its a Yorkie.... not good and never will ckc check to see if dogs are in a correct setting akc will check up on breeder pop up in the middle of the day and say Paperwork please and will give you give you a ticket$$ if you fail to meet your requirements as a akc breeder i love it when akc is in the area i just want to pull out my pom pom's and show em who to check up on next having a ckc pet is not a big deal but raising ckc is taking the low rd in my honest opinion
