Hi Dands, Earl is Cindy's real kid. I have a huge online crush on him
Sam is very socialized, he goes tons of places BUT he does not like people to touch him, it has to be on his terms.
I would suggest taking him out to places that take dogs, even stores. Plus take him to the doggie park and even let him go to doggie daycare a couple days.
