I had the same problem a few weeks ago. All Summer long I have not seen one flea on either Brody or Rhianna. I took Brody to get groomed one last time late August and a day or two later I saw a flea on him . . now, I can't guarantee he got it from the groomer, but I washed him and Rhianna with Dawn immediately after that, cleaned my entire house, washed their toys, their beds, etc . . .all was fine until today . . .again, a flea on Brody . . .I am literally freaking out wondering if he picked it up outside or what . .. again, both in a Dawn bath . . .beds, toys, go around like a crazy mad woman cleaning . . .ugh . . . I just applied my first dose of Frontline Plus to them . . .(I am not particularly fond of using chems on them) but I just don't want to have any more fleas . . .I'm almost positive we have none in the house . . .none of us have gotten bitten . . .and we don't have any rugs . . .so right now, I've banned outdoor potty just for a test to see if anymore fleas turn up . . .
