The key line is:
"The dog may qualify for registration if the pedigree shows no break in AKC lineage and the dogs in the pedigree originate from AKC registrable stock."
So they not only have to have no break in AKC lineage, but the pedicgree has to originate form AKC
registrable stock.
The only problem I have with this is that most people will pay the researching fee and find out that their dogs don't meet the requirements.
