I am not sure how one goes about letting the yorkie community know of something like a little memoir of a yorkie.....but here goes. My husband and I returned from a year in France with "Pennie". My husband is a historian who was on sabbatical writing a book about an Alabama Presbyterian minister who served in WWII. We had never had a yorkie before and of course the joy she has brought has been overwhelming. Our 17 year old dog died a few months before we left for France so we decided to get Pennie while we were there. I do not have illusions of being a great writer but I decided to write about Pennie's emigration from France to the US with lots of photos. It is dedicated to the children we met in France and to our extended children family back home in Alabama and the US. If you or your children or grandchildren might be interested in a little true story such as this, you can find it by going to
www.bookemon.com/store and searching for books for sale under "pets". Today is her second birthday as well! I hope this is not an inappropriate way to get information out. If so, I apologize.
