My vet is very holistic and rec some natural remedies and stuff for fleas, but cautioned that if I buy Heartguard and Frontline from somewhere other than a vet, it is not backed by the company. Ie if my dogs get heartworm even on Heartguard, but I didn't buy it at the vet, the company does not pay for the treatments. Same goes for frontline. If they happen to get a chemical burn from the meds, Merial won't pay for treatment unless I purchased it from the vet.
Yes it might be more expensive, and yes I loved getting it for cheaper, but now I just don't want to risk it. Especially with Lily being so small, I just don't want to risk it.


I have seen a lot of people argue this point, but what you are saying IS true!
