I know you will be nervous but he will be fine
Just make sure the vet has experience with the little ones and uses the correct anesthesia, etc. Many, many people have had their little Yorkies spayed/neutered and everything was fine. Over 2lbs is a good weight! If it would make you feel a little better, waiting one more month probably won't change anything. Jackson was nearly 7 mo. old when neutered.
