I had a little female schnauzer that passed away last year from cancer. SHe had allergies really bad. I would give her about 1/2 tsp. in a syringe. She weighed about 16lbs. I am always afraid of overdosing, so I probably could have given her alittle more but I don't like to over use Benedryl anyway. My little 2yr. yorkie, I think, has allergies because I have seen no fleas but she is itchy. I would give her about 1/4 tsp. She weighs alittle over 8lbs. (she is over weight) lol!!! But, check with your vet to be sure. Allergies are terrible. I have given my schnauzers the shots but even they don't last. I just hate medicating them all the time.
