That is the way I give Frontline to Daisy. I only give it to her a couple times during the spring/summer. It works great for us. I only give her the dosage for a cat instead of the one for small dogs (0-22lbs) because she is about the size of a cat. It is a lot less expensive especially if you have multiple dogs.
