I realize this is not the same problem that your little one has, but I have one (a 10 lb. Pommie) that seems to get diarrhea from anything he touches other than his food. To make it worse he eats or chews on everything he finds.....inside and outside. My vet has him on 1/2 Pepcid 2x's per day and 1/8 tsp. Primal Defense 4 hrs. after eating. Helps as long as he doesn't chew on a rawhide, nylabone, destroy a toy and ingest some of the threads, etc. I also know that he does better when he is on Tylan, but so far my vet has been reluctant to put him on it all the time.
