Hmm some puppies dont mind it and some do! The ones that I have mircochipped really took it bad. I think it is best just to do it when she goes under, when you spay her, take puppy teeth out... That would be your best time, that way she wont even know!!
Some of the dogs flinched or moved and it made it worse to do!! You never know how they will react to it.
