I think overall Antonia show will be much more fun to watch, and he does things with colors that I haven't seen before. If I were actually hiring someone, I'd probably want Dan, but I'm more likely to watch Antonio. The season David was on was the best, he really had some tough competitors, and now all the designers know a little on what to expect, but his white room challenge was just so far ahead of anyone else it was amazing. |
That is funny that you mentioned that! Yes, the gazebo was a real deal breaker on that challenge but I got the same impression that Antonio was trying to create confusion with the $5000/$10000 issue. I think he might be more street smart (aka DEVIOUS) than Dan.
I'll have to agree to disagree about Antonio being more interesting though. I like to watch the design shows that I can actually see myself using/living in. I do not like Antonio's "style" or lack thereof. I also think he is a bully. He also kept flirting with the female design judges and they had the poor taste to eat it up. Not very "judge-ly"

And I enjoy both of their shows on HGTV, just was not happy with their impartiality.
I will have to watch the daytime Design Star shows for a rerun of the season David was on. I have a very bizarre facination with him. He just seems to have so much fun with everything he does. I love people like that!
For a Design show my postings sound more like they come from a Soap Opera! ROTFL! Thanks everyone -- I have been dying to discuss the show. No one I know follows this!
