I just googled the problem and found all sorts of other mention of cats nursing on dogs that were not pregant, some to the point the dogs nipples were getting sore. So, I guess it is more common than I would have thought. It did not seem to get much excitement from vets so I guess it is not harmful unless the nipples are getting sore, then Bag Balm was suggested. I would think about a little Bitter Apple rubbed on your girl's nipples and that might deter the cats. I would be weirded out a little myself.
