Lots of dogs are allergic to grains. Make sure your first 5 ingredients are not corn. Yes food has lots to do with allergies. You say she is scratches around her neck area. Bet she has ear mites or an infection. Do you clean her ears after each bath? Water will collect and will cause fungus to grow. Use a good ear cleaner and make sure the canal is clean and dry. Your vet will show you how. Best of luck to you and let us know.
