Genghis used to LOVE the dog park. He would find a new dog playmate, assume the doggy position wag his but to get attention and then run full speed around and around whether the other dog was chasing him or not. It was the cutest thing. He even ran into some dogs as he was running so fast I guess he didn't see them. Then summer came and he just finds a shady spot and sit there till we go home, unless one of his friends is there that he's already met in his "youth" (he's only 11 months now) then the runs around and wrestles and plays. I think he is now into meeting dogs more on an individual basis and playing on real grass. Most of the parks around my house have synthetic grass and since we have the turf for him at home as a pee pee pad that is pretty much all he does on the synthetic stuff now. He has a lot more fun on playdates at home or at open parks. He likes having his own yorkie meets and show his friends where his doggy door is, though I have to say most of his friends don't get the doggy door, so he'll go outside and wonder why no one is following so he waits a while and comes back in it's kinda funny. Anyway I seem to be rambling...
