Even if you neutered him, there is no guarantee that he will not attempt to mount other dogs. Sometimes my female even does it!

They say it's more about dominance anyways. And for some reason, your male feels the need to try to dominate the other dogs. I personally would not be too worried about it other than the fact that it's not real good doggy manners and eventually one of the dogs is going to get annoyed with him. If he's still young, he might grow out of it as well. Not to be nosey but why aren't you going to have him neutered?
