I know this is an old thread. BUT, I was wondering about showing AKC Parti Gene Carriers. My Bayleigh is a parti gene carrier, I am not considering showing her, but I am considering getting into the show arena. I want to make sure I purchase the right dog when the time comes.

I dont see any where on Bayleighs papers that is says, parti gene carrier. So, how would they know? Do they research to find that the father was the parti & then she (or another dog) would be disqualified?

I have been told 2 different things. I was told they would not allow parti gene carriers in the ring, then I was told that they do. So, I am confused now.
