My dog had a beautiful soft, shiny silvery/gray coat. Now his coat has a large patch of black fur (it is not shiny or soft it feels very coarse). He just turned 2 years old. Is he starting to lose his puppy coat and this is his adult coat growing in? Any answers would be appreciated.
