 Tootsie is missed
One week ago today I lost my precious 11-year-old girl Tootsie. From age 3, she dealt with many medical problems - hypothyroidism, seizures, and recurrent UTIs. Her health was well-managed, and up until 6 weeks ago she was still her happy and playful self. After several weeks of strange behavior, difficulty with standing, and sudden blindness, the vet said it was likely an aggressive brain tumor.
DH (who only knew Toots for the past 3 years) and I are devastated by her loss - the house seems so empty without her! She was the sweetest and most loving dog I ever knew.
I can't wait until I am ready to bring another Yorkie into my life - they truly are the greatest dogs. |
