In comparing him to the girls, I think he will have more of a dry cotton coat like what we had talked about (like his mother, Molly who is a red leg). Molly's coat grows incredibly slow and she only needs to be groomed about every 3 months or so (which is great on grooming costs).

Connie, I know that you expressed much concern about his coat but please be patient with it. You know what Max and Molly look like so its not like he will grow up to look like a chihuahua and nothing like his parents. He does have big ears right now, which he will grow into someday.
