my dog is hypothyroid and we see jean dodds -- the best tests are 6 panel through dr jean dodds or michigan state panel so you can have your vet send blood to either for the most accurate testing - normal t4free per jean dodds is 1.0 for a yorkie and my girl was .30 -- they only need one symptom to have it and if having skin issues always have this tested first - some signs - cold, weight gain with no increase in food, skin issues, loss of hair -- i knew it was this when my yorkie lost the hair on her neck and she has horrible allergies -- it is an auto immune disease and due to a ton of inbreeding in this breed many have auto immune diseases such as this and allergies
