If the pumpkin does not work try green beans. I have a dog with cronic constipation and I was giving 1/2 can pumpkin a day and still he wasn't pooping well. The vet said to try the green beans and WHA LA ! worked like magic. He said the green veggies have more fiber. And now my dog is like the new Pedigree comercial says ( an optimum pooper ).
