AKC is the American Kennel Club, and CKC is the Continental Kennel Club. AKC is more strict, I guess? Like, you can register your AKC dog in the CKC, but you can't register your CKC dog AKC. That's the best way I can think of to describe it. Basically, I think AKC is generalized as the "better" or more prestigious (sp?) club. |
