I think I should have done the same thing! I thought we were all set, went to Target...got Lulu the Ladybug costume in an XS (they were very picked over), got home and tried it on...TOO SMALL!
It says it fits up to 6#, she is right at 4# and it was way too short for her length. Guess I will be making the 60 mile round trip to take it back.
