My Fellow Yorkies,

Why do Mommies get so mad when you find a snack?

Every time we walk by the pond there are these little green things hopping around. They're the same size as crickets but they make less noise.

They're smaller than quarters and one came right up to me to say hello. I grabbed it, tagging my tail so hard it nearly flew off. It was over in two snaps. Next thing I know Mommy is losing her mind trying to pry my mouth open.

It was too late.

Frogs are delicious. But Mom is stressed. Sheesh. I don't try to take food out of her mouth.

Mommies are weird.

Okay... my dog ate a tiny frog. He seemed so proud of himself when he caught it and by the time I figured out what he had done he was smacking his lips in satisfaction. Is he going to be okay?
