How old is he? If he is young and tiny (4 lbs and under) I wouldn't let it go on for too long. I'd try the pumpkin for a few days and then go to the vet. When they are young you don't wantt o mess around- the older they get the more familliar you get with what is going on with them. I'm sure it is just something he picked up or whatever
