I gave the money to the lady, and took the puppy. I rushed straight over to the grocery store for karo syrup. I considered it a rescue. Ellie is like a mother to her and is teaching her the right thing to do. So it worked out good for us. However, if someone with no knowledge would have purchased this puppy, it would for sure had died on them. She had fleas really bad too. Now she's healthy and doing well.
That's the main reason why I get so angry. Many breeders do know that it's wrong, and they just want the money. |
Awww, that was so sweet of you to save that baby. I am glad she is doing well. How old is she now. I totally agree with you that some people just won't listen. When I see it now I just shake my head and think if they only knew. It really bothers me when I see breeders vaccinating their pups at such a young age, I used to do that too. When I think back, I am doing things a lot different now than I did 12 years ago. I guess that is why I am a little more understanding and tolerant of people that aren't doing everything the way we think they should. We all make mistakes, unless you were fortunate enough to start out on the right foot and have a good mentor.
