It has actually seemed quite unique so far, as I have never met another Pixel. However, I entered him in a contest and when I went to search for my boy's entry, I noticed there were 2 other Pixels on the site. Although there were TONS of thousands of entries, so still pretty rare I think. See, the moral of this story is, never ever listen to your parents hahahahaha They STILL have brought up a few times how much they hate the name when I'm talking about him on the phone to them.
