This happened to me about 9 years ago. A lady backed into my car that I had only had for 3 days. She just backed up and didn't look. She gave me her insurance info and I called them, and they told me they had to hear from her. I was also shocked that the ins co didn't want to help me.
They were nice and all but they had to hear it from their client.
Meanwhile they had an old phone # and an old address.
If I didn't work for the same co and have access to his files
I would not be getting this claim paid.
Even with two eye witnessess they would not take my word for it.
Always call the police no matter how little the accident is. With the
police record I would have been able to more forward with this.

Yep, the low life. The principal called him this morning, I listened to
the call and he told him I came to see him and report that he has
not called his ins co regarding the accident. He said he was out of
the country and did not get any messages or letter!
He just called me apoligizing and will call the ins co right now.
He did not know he had to report an accident. LMAO

that's all I care about. He now has no choice. He seemed
very nervous, voice shaking on the phone.
His bosses rave about him. This does not seem like him at all
they told me. However I'm not his boss just a woman who he
thought he could get away with something IMO. Maybe he'll
think twice before pulling something like this again.
