I am happy that Ellen is a judge on American Idol too. I agree with everybody that stated that Ellen serving as the average Joe judge even though she is a celebrity would make the show more enjoyable to watch. I cannot wait to see Ellen use humor to counteract Simon's opinions towards the performers and other judges' critiques. I do like Simon by the way. American Idol hiring Ellen as the fourth judge made me excited to watch the show. I was not as excited to watch the show like last year immediately after American Idol decided not to renew Paula's contract. I wish Paula well in all of her endeavors. It was interesting to read everybody's opinions about Ellen being the fourth judge on American Idol. I cannot wait to talk about this show on this thread again when the show airs on TV. Talking about the show with you guys make watching the show more enjoyable.
