I worked in the OR as a nurse. I think that your surgery will go well. Just don't hesitate to ask for pain medicine if you need it. The meds work best if you take them as soon as you know you need them rather than waiting until you are in agony.
Do exactly what your surgeon tells you. And if there is a problem after the surgery, call your contact person right away. Your Yorkie can tell you this is good advice.
