The Me in Me wants to just simply say: I am 100% against any and all breed legislation. If we open the door to prejudice against
any breed, we open it against ALL breeds.
Best Friends Society has some great reading on BSL (breed specific legislation) and LOTS of info about Pitbulls (they are the charity that took in Michael Vick's Pitbulls and rehabilitated them w/ lots of TLC).
