On the other hand you have brought a pitbull up with a yorkie and you have 100% trust , good for you but just don't expect people that don't know your dog to do the same. Sorry to be mean but it is my honest opinion.  |
I have to agree - my neighbors have a great gentle pitt.....at least from what I can see and I do like him ....I even got a smooch from him - he stood eye to eye with me when on his hind legs -
BUT ...when I have my girls out on our walks and see him or another large dog - yes -
I carry them. Good thing I do to because I was charged one day by one who was off leash. didn't seem agressive but jumped on my back (like 10 times trying to get to them) while I stood and slowely turned in circles .....I don't take chances with ANY large dog.
Yorkies & small breeds are attacked all the time - we see it all over this site. Why risk it ?
