Yes like a hamster bottle only larger. Lixit makes them for small, med and lrg dogs.
Apparently, the constant wet fur on the chin can cause yeast growth, can then get smelly and stain as well. On a Maltese it is more noticable but probably not on a yorkie.
EVA is like a wet mop after she drinks! So i wipe her. Sometimes i don't catch her in time though. All the water pooling near her dish is lifting the cracks of my laminate floor a bit. Even with a water placemat she still makes a mess. So I thought I would try the bottle.
She seems to think it is more of a toy at this point.
