I had my surgery Feb of 08. Best thing I have ever done. I am not going to lie, the recovery was a bit tough. But I did have a lot of tissue removed. over 3 lbs per side. The pain was so worth it! I would say the first week was the toughest. You can't really lay down flat because its hard to get up. You are not supposed to use your arms. And you are not supposed to lay on your side. I ended up sleeping on the sofa propped up. My surgery took 4 hours and I was in recovery a little over an hour. Went home after that. I am still pretty big up on top DD but they are perky and a great shape. My Dr did a fabulous job. The scarring is pretty intense, but you can't see them unless you are really looking.
Working out is so much easier now. I can wear just ONE sports bra. Instead of 3. My shoulders and neck feel much better. I know longer have the strain of the heavyness.

Good luck with your surgery. IF you have any questions about it let me know.
