My puppy wasn't really a barker till' last week...he started barking and whining if I'd close my rooms door. I also live in an apartment, I've read many threads and I personally don't like the collar. I tried shaking the pennies in a can and yelling "quiet". My puppy stops the crying and whining when I shake the can..maybe u should start there? If it doesn't work then try other methods?
