i show a little AKC and a lot of UKC. The headquarters for UKC is in kalamazoo Michigan. There are shows every weekend somewhere in michigan. UKC is a good place for a new person to start unless you are really brave and just jump right in AKC. there is a thread in this forum about the difference between the two. Many people show both venues and may judges that oyou see or hear of in AKC also judge UKC . here is the link to the website. it tells you everything you need to know pluss under dog events, there is a list of shows listed by month.
