Unhappy Feel your pain

Hi,

We have had Sparkle, six month old Yorkie, for almost 5 weeks and have been diligently following all rules in the "books" and on this site. Crate Training, Playpen, Leash tied to me...etc. I am home most of the day with him and am trying so HARD to get this right. We did really well...9 days accident free and then all of a sudden..wham! He has gone in his crate, in his playpen (today right after I took him outside), on the floor...everything. We are doing the outside method and the only thing I can think is that we have switched from taking him in front of the house to the back of the house. I just can't think of what else has happened???? I am wondering if it is spite for leaving him at all....is that possible? I don't like keeping him cooped up all the time but now am feeling like he has to be in playpen or crate all the time that we are not walking or playing with him. Any help appreciated or just encouragement...smile!
